With this design, Rudolf Lindner won the world championship in 1955 for the seconcd consecutive time. The model is a development of the 1954 "Spinne", and the plan has been re-created by Lasse Larsson.
Rudolf Lindner later became a designer of full size gliders, and pioneered the use of glassfibre reinforced plastic.
