Like in many other countries at that time, the Canadian authorities supported model flying in the 1940:s. This was done through the "Air Cadet League", which published a series of 5 models that took the budding modeller from beginner to advanced level. This is first model, an all-balsa hand launched glider. Like the other models in the series, it was available as a kit from the Onitario Model Aircraft Company.
