Ragnar Åhman's design "X-1" was in 1965 selected as the standard wakefield introduction model by the Swedish model flying organisation (SMFF). The following year, Ragnar presented a development, the X-2. The main differences compared to X-1 lies in the wing and stabilizer. The fuselage is the same typical "Åhman-fuselage". Like its predecessor, it was a good design that achieved an impressive list of competition wins.
