Class S1 glider designed by Bertil Dahlqvist in 1944, built mostly of hardwood. With this model, Bertil placed 2:nd at the 1944 Swedish championships. Phu-Ling is fake Chinese that sounds like the Swedish word "fuling" ("ugly one" in English).
