Cikada is a classic in the Swedish free flight scene, with many competition wins since it first appeared in the early seventies. It is still available as a kit from Hobbyträ (http://hobbytra.se). The original model was built for the 1969 "Skvaderns night competition", where it took 1:st place in the junior category. The design was made available as a kit by the Härnösand model flying club before Modellprodukter and later Hobbyträ took over the production.
