This model was designed in 1947 by Sven/Olov Sundberg, and two years later it was available as a kit from Tore Haglund & Co. The model was designed for the G1 category and could be built with either a folding or a free-wheeling propeller. The name Sluggo comes from a character in the comic strip "Lisa och Sluggo".
